The main activities of Veralux Ehitus Ltd are projecting and building of port hydro-technical constructions. The company works in close cooperation with one of leading marine project institutes of the former Soviet Union - Black Sea Research and Development institute, Odessa, Ukraine (also known as CHERNOMORNIIPROJEKT).

Project and design works are usually prepared by the institute according to direct contracts with a customer. However, Veralux Ehitus Ltd. is acting as its local representative.

Construction works are carrying out by different subcontractors.

Role of Veralux Ehitus Ltd .is arranging of construction process starting from preparation of technical requirements, project evaluation, participation in tenders, budgeting and arranging of proper financing including required performance guarantees etc.

Veralux Ehitus Ltd. is responsible for proper arranging of cooperation between different subcontractors, executes technical supervision and final delivery of finished objects to customers. Also company is responsible for post delivery guarantees and repair if any.

Veralux Ehitus Ltd. is the general contractor of the deepwater Port of Paldiski (Estonia). Volume of already completed construction is above 20 000 000 $ and includes erection of 370 meters long breakwater and the pier alongside, Ro-Ro berth and relevant dredging works. The construction of second Ro-Ro berth and berth for general cargo trans-shipment (total length over 390 meters) will be completed in the year 2006.
